HELPFUL INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING & FAQS

• Please ensure you know what playing level your child is – click here to review playing abilities. If your child is registered for a class that is not appropriate for their age or ability, your child will not be allowed to attend the class and you will be charged a non-refundable $10 cancellation fee.

• Please note the additional required fee to play in HCCTA’s Sunday classes at Carmel Racquet Club Classes (bottom of the page or click link).
• Start Date for Classes:
  • Tuesdays – 10/22
  • Wednesdays – 10/23
  • Saturdays – 11/2
  • Sundays – 10/20
• Classes have different dates, schedules, locations, etc. Please make sure you read all the information for the class you are registering for.
• Indoor classes fill up. There is limited space during the indoor season. NO MAKE-UP options during the indoor season! Although our policies state no make-up classes, we do allow make-ups when we can accommodate make-ups. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate make-up classes during our indoor sessions like we can during our outdoor sessions. To view our class policies – click here.
  
• My child needs a racquet: you can order a racquet for your child when you register, and you will get the racquet on the first day of class.
• Late Fee: Late fees cannot be waived or refunded.  A late fee is charged to help offset the additional work and cost late registrations require. Thank you for understanding.
  • Wednesday Registrations: Registrations received on or after 10/16 will incur a $10 late fee.
  • Saturday Registrations: Registrations received on or after 10/26 will incur a $10 late fee.
  • Sunday Registrations: Registrations received on or after 10/13 will incur a $10 late fee.
• Beginner Players Class Options – We have beginner classes for ages 4 to 12 (Pre-K to Grade 6). Beginner class options for all ages are available during our Spring, Summer, and Fall Sessions. We do not have beginner real ball or adult classes during our indoor season. Below are the class options for beginner players:
  • Ages 4 to 12 – Tuesdays at the Monon Center
  • Ages 6 to 10 – Saturdays at Noble Crossing
  • Ages 6 to 12 – Wednesdays at Durbin
  • Ages 4 to 10/pre-k to k and red ball (grades 1-3) classes on Sundays at Carmel Racquet Club.
• Adult Classes – During the indoor season we offer Adult Instruction (Advanced Beginner), 3.0 & Below (Intermediate) Point Play and 3.5 & Above (Advanced) Point Play classes. Beginner adult classes will resume when we begin our outdoor season in the Spring.

Monon Center Tuesday Classes

Ages 4 to 6: 4:00 to 4:30 pm

Ages 6 to 8: 4:30 to 5:30 pm

Ages 8 to 10: 5:30 to 6:30 pm

Ages 10 to 12: 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Classes are held in a gym using a short court net and lower compression balls.

Dates: 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, and 12/17

Focus Learning Center (formerly Durbin Elementary) Classes

Ages 6 to 10: 4:30 to 5:30 pm

Ages 6 to 10: 5:30 to 6:30 pm

Ages 8 to 12: 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Classes are held in a gym using a short court net and lower compression balls.

Dates: 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11, and 12/18 (NO class on 11/27)

Location: Focus Learning Center (formerly Durbin Elementary) – 18000 Durbin Rd, Noblesville, IN 46060

*You can type “Focus Learning Center”, “Durbin Elementary” or the above address into your maps app. The building/gym where classes are held used to be Durbin Elementary, now the building/gym is class the Focus Learning Center.

Saturday Ages 6 to 10 Classes

Ages 6 to 10: 10 am to 11 am

Ages 6 to 10: 11 am to Noon

Class Dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, 12/14 (no class on 11/30 – Thanksgiving weekend)

Location: Noble Crossing Elementary School Gym – 5670 Noble Crossing Parkway, Noblesville, IN 46062
-Park in the front, use Door #2 (front entrance).

Court Number – Your class will meet on court 3, 5 or 6 (please see the court number for your class above). Courts 3, 5 and 6 are on the left when facing the courts or walking down the hallway between the courts.

Please do not enter the courts until the buzzer has rung. A buzzer rings every 30 minutes and it is standard court etiquette to wait to enter courts until the buzzer has rang for your class start time.

If the player you are registering is NOT a Carmel Racquet Member you MUST pay the NONMEMBER Carmel Racquet Club (CRC) Fee when you register. If this applies to you, when you fill out the registration form please select the Nonmember Carmel Racquet Club Fee option.

COACH SHELLY SUNDAY CLASSES
