HCCTA Fall Tennis
HELPFUL TIPS BEFORE REGISTERING:
- If you are unsure what class to register for, review the class descriptions below.
- Grade levels are the grade your child is going into for the fall 2017.
- Once you select a class, note the time, dates and location for your class.

Fishers Class Locations:
Saturday & Sunday Classes – all classes at Fishers Junior High
Monday Classes – all classes at HSE Junior High
Wednesday Classes – Fishers Junior High & HSE Junior High: Fishers Junior High – 8/16, 8/23, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27 (if there is a rain-out), HSE Junior High: 8/30 & 9/6. All classes are at Fishers Junior High except the 8/30 & 9/6 classes, the 8/30 & 9/6 classes are at HSE Junior High.
*Monday & Wednesday Class Times: Red Ball (Grades 1-3): 5 to 6 pm, Orange Ball (Grades 4-6): 6 to 7 pm

- All classes are 6 weeks, one day a week. Price is for the entire 6 weeks.

Cost
- 30 Minute Classes: $55 ($65 if register on or after 7/31)
- One Hour Classes: $85 ($95 if register on or after 7/31)
- 1.5 Hour Classes: $125 ($135 if register on or after 7/31)
Rain-Outs
If classes are cancelled due to rain or high winds, cancellations are posted on our website at: https://hccta.org/hccta-twitter/) or our twitter account (TennisHccta). If there is rain in the forecast or it has rained that day please check to see if class is on. Even if it is not raining at the time of your class the courts may still be wet and class may be cancelled. If there are high winds please check to see if classes are still on. If there is no cancellation posted then classes are still on. NOTE: all classes have one built in rain make-up date. If your class is rained out, you will have class on the rain make-up date.
Cancellation/Refund/Transfer Policy
A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be provided only if you cancel two weeks prior to the start date of the program you registered for. This is due to the cost of your registration, the court fees, tennis instructors, and liability insurance that HCCTA purchases for you when you register. Registration fee transfers are not allowed. All refunds will be made back to the credit card that was used to purchase your registration fee(s).
Missed Classes
Make-up classes are only offered in the event of a rain-out or cancellation due to high winds. If you or your child misses a class for any other reason there are no make-up classes or refunds.
Class Descriptions
Grades are suggestive only. Some kids that have been playing for a while have moved up to the next class grade level. If your child is new to the sport or has not been playing for over a year your child should play in the suggested class for their grade. Pre-K to K, Red, and Orange ball classes use lower compression balls.
Pre-K to K: 30 minute classes, half court & red lower compression balls. Some kindergarteners may be better suited for the one hour red ball class. The determining factor is if your child can focus and follow directions for an hour.
Red Ball (Grades 1-3): hour long classes, half court & red lower compression balls. Typically for grades 1-3.
Orange Ball (Grades 4-6): hour long class, three-fourths of the court & orange lower compression balls.
Real Ball (Grades 5-12): Full-court, regular tennis balls.
Adult Point Play: Point play (coaches feeding) will be the focus of this class. Class is for intermediate and above players.
